Patrick and I started trying to sort out the ladder bar kit yesterday. First thing I did was check the brackets on the ladder bar housing I bought at St. Louis last year. Guess what? None of them were right for my Alston kit.

I got to spend most of the morning with a plasma cutter and grinder taking brackets off. Oh well, I now have a shiny clean back braced housing to weld all my crap onto. :D

Not much progress, but progress forward anyway.

Jingle bells shotgunshells rabbits all the way oh what fun it is to blow Bagel off the dragway. Dashing thru the strip something Bagel has done but he has never been Slantsix number one. Next year will be new and he could be cool and he might win but tell me folks who will be number one . Merry Christmas To all of the Slanted Family :D :D

Momma forgot to lock up the eggnog again, huh Possum?

You seem to keep forgetting that my main objective is not Slantsix #1, it is to have a car that says S/P on it in the lanes at RT66.

I honestly do not have the money, time, or desire to chase a Slant championship, especially the money. :(

Of course, having a Slant street car that was half a day faster than your race car was fun too.
