I will be converting from 1BBL to 2BBL Super Six. Other than looks, is there any benefit in going from a single exhaust to a dual exhaust system using a Y pipe attached to the stock single exhaust manifold. |

No. If you want duals, get Dutra Dual exhaust manifolds. If you're staying with stock type exhaust manifold, run one pipe off it, preferably of 2ΒΌ" diameter.
