(I do not know hove much I can trust a "G-tech")

Polished and ported (with a Dremel).

About now a set of 3.23 gears would help.

Great progress.

The front 2 barrels of that carb are well enough to run 15s in that car, so yes, it is overkill. However, since you have it on there, you may as well tune it up and use it. Vac secondaries will just not open as you say.
