Turns out the way I've had to assembly the parts for my project have not been optimum. Parts car from the junkyard for the shell. and parts from here and there. It's actually been not too expensive and I have a shell that's stripped down already. I bought some POR 15 and want to work the undercarriage once so that I don't have to go there again if possible. Anyone do this with a rotisserie and care to share your experience?

what does a stripped shell weigh?

I think it is a real good idea. If I were starting from a shell I POR15 everything I could.

I put one together from a kit. It's adjustable for any kind of body, frame or uni-body. One end pivots and had a 'wagon' handle on it, with the large pneumatic tires on it, it's no problem moving the unit.
I went with a more upscale unit so I could rent it out for any car when not in use. Making one for just one car/body type would be simple.
