I have an 1981 Ram 150 with the 225 and I have no choke when it starts. I have the "electronic spark control" on the air filter.

The electronic spark control hasn't got anything to do with your choke (or lack thereof). Suggest you get one of the new-type Electric choke kits

Just bought two(2) NOS mopar chokes off ebay last night for $15. Just search under 'dodge choke' to bring up a list.Avoid the guys who want $40 for one- there are plenty for $7-$10 on there just make sure you get the right one.As far as Dan's suggestion, his really is the best improvement over original but it depends on what you want to spend or what you think is adaquate for the condition of your vehicle-is it a show winner or does it have one foot in the grave?
