One of the basic tips that I picked up from Fred of total performance was to mount your MAP sensor so the vacuum hose points down. This allows condensation to drain out of it, and not do damage inside. It is a temptation to mount it with the nipple sticking straight out on the horizontal. It will involve making an "L" shaped bracket in many instances.
