I am fabricating an aluminum mpfi manifold. I have 2 questions.

1. Does anyone have a good source for aluminum injector bungs (not to pricey)?

2. How do I guage how deep the injector goes?

Thanks for any help.........

I got my bungs installed from intake elbows.com . I am more than happy with the work and personal service. He also did the rail.

My understanding is the injector nozzle sit just inside the manifold/head gasket surface by about 1/4". Tht would be on the manifold side. Just about anything would probably run, but this is what several web sites and books have suggested.

It realy dosen't matter were the injector goes. The closer to the valves the smoother the idle. The farther away the more homogenized the mixture. For example the F1 guys run the injectors above the intake runner.

A cheap injecter bung. A 3/8 npt to 1/2" compression fitting. About $2.22 from Home Depot, Watts # A-220.
