How big a job is it to replace the oil pump in a 1983 D-150 pick-up? Just curious if you can replace it without raising the engine. Another question-is the Clevite 601-1621 a good replacement pump? I can get one for $36.99 at the local Advance Auto. Thanks for any help!

the oil pump is external, it's on the passenger side
