Just got my new fuel sender from Paddock today (right one; 5/16" fitting), and no manufacturer or "made in xxxx" anywhere on the thing (or the packaging). Anyone know who manufactures the fuel senders that Paddock sells?

Is the float brass or stainless steel?

It's brass (snaps on. Do they all snap onto the rod?), and the pickup "sock" is cylindrical instead of having the flattened end.

Probably a Spectra Premium brand sender, then.

You didn't say it's junk, so I'll take that as a good sign. Now I just have to deal with the pain of calibrating it when I install it. I take it there's no easy way to drain the fuel tank?
