Duster Hedders I'm in the midst of installing headers in a '74 Duster. I'm keeping the slant 6 intake. Headers are Clifford Tri-Ys. I know some of you out there must have done this. 1. How did you all handle getting heat from the new headers to the bottom of the old iron intake? 2. ow did you rig up the bottom of the throttle linkage bracket that attached to the old exhaust manifold? It looks like I'll have to do some fabrication unless somebody has a better idea--a distinct possibility. thanks for your input. how did you all handle getting heat from the headers to the bottom of the old iron intake? |

I ran headers for years. No heat to the intake. Start-up and warm up will take some getting used to, but I drove mine in sub zero weather with no problems. You will have to fabricate some brackets. |
