Doug, there was a guy came up to Mike's trailer in KC and started telling us about the existence of 2 Hemi style conversion heads for a Slant. He also said you know where they are. I've already formed my opinion on the subject, but what is the REAL story?? (wink, wink!)

Doug and I were exchanging some e-mails and he let slip that there are a couple of early prototype versions out there now in a couple of R&D cars. Sounds like they were based on early style 50's hemi's. No details when I asked for more info. I remember the six that Bruce Sizemore ran that had a sectioned 351 cylinder head. His brother in law was CJ Batten and he made a lot of HP.

Yeah, I remember Sizemore's Pinto. It was just about running Pro Stock times. Building that Ford head would be a "walk-in-the-park" compared to the logistics of converting a Slant to a Hemi!
