Sorry for an "off" topic, but hoping somebody might be able to help me. I want to round up a pair of plain-jane steel wheels for my "new" pickup,(for winter snow use), and the salvage yards around here want to get from $50-$90 each for them. Looking for a pair for '95 Dakota, 2wd, but they're 6-lug rims.

Thanks, folks
Roger

Can't you use the GMC/Chevy/Nissan/Toyota/Mazda wheels on that thing? And why did Dodge put six lug wheels on the Dakota? It would make some sense on a full size 1/2 ton, but the Dakota...

Haven't tried it, and the bolt circle on the Dodge looks kinda small to me, so that might not work.

I was wondering the same thing. The only thing I can come up with is for lowering production costs. By using the same bolt circle on both the 2X and 4X trucks, they didn't have to duplicate the same wheel options in two different patterns.
