I am going from a holly 1945 (i think) to a 1920 and was wondering what if anything i need to worry about?

I also had a real thick gasket on the old carb, almost like a half in spacer. All i could find was thin paper gasket to replace that. Will i have any problem just using that and throwing away the spacer?

Hookup issues depend on what year your car is, and which exact 1920 you're installing. If you can give us some specifics, it'll be easier to answer your question. You definitely want the correct extra-thick carb base gasket, not the thin one. Where/how have you looked for the thick one without success?

I found the right gasket. Advanced told me when they ordered it that it was just a plain thin gasket but when it came in it ended up being the same as what i have now.

The car is a 74 duster......i have it all on the car now and got it started up. I have to get some hose though so i can hook my vac advance back up and i still have to do the fuel line mod. Which i hope to get to tomorrow evening
