I went to the music city show. Actually spun the little 198 to 5800 RPM! There was more there too! I had the speedo click'n at 117!!

The HP was fairly flat from 3600- 4450RPM. Top torque was around 3500RPM. Both took a nose dive after 5000RPM.

I was burning really rich, plugs had 6K on them. Stock valves, cam, points and a BBD. Running a 50/50 mix of 110 race gas and pump 93.

Guess the numbers!



BTW my buddy pulled top HP of the day with his 440. Even beat a Hemi!

Whatever it was, it would have been better on pump gas.

Hmmmm, I see you posted while I was typing Rug.

Those numbers are about equal to what the power/speed calculator gave me for my Duster when it was box stock.

Race gas is for RACE cars.
