Welcome aboard.

Tell us about your car so we can enjoy it too!

According to Doug's chart, that casting number is for an early to mid-60's RG block, or 225.

I'd start with whatever is in the car. A lot of the work and goodies will swap from one slant to the other - heads, manifolds, etc.

Read the articles, do some searches, post, and enjoy!

A 4-speed SL6 is a fun combo, they are fun to drive.
Your block is an 'RG', basically a 3 freeze plug (60-67) 225.

Is the car running? What is the biggest problem with it?
