I'm planning on installing a new Erson RV camshaft in my truck and wondered if it would be worth the $ and effort to put a double-row timing chain on it. I did manage to score the crankshaft gear a while back. Where can I get the cam gear? It's the same as one of the big blocks, isn't it?

Thanks,

Joe

Crank gear and chain are the same as a big block, the cam gear is unique to the slant.

If you're using stock valve springs and don't anticipate running 200k miles before opening the engine again I feel a silent chain set will serve just fine.
