Yeah, Valiant station wagons (A-bodies, all of them) were built in Australia right through to the end in 1981. These Australian-built wagons were the ones sold in South Africa. Some of the ones sold in South Africa through 1970 got US Dart or Valiant front sheetmetal to match the US-body sedans in the South African model lineup.

Here's a '67-'68 VE model:





The '68-'70 VF model used the same body shell, but had a new grille treatment (very much like the US '69 Chevrolet), front park/turn lamps moved to the fender tops(!), and the tail/brake/turn lamps and related sheetmetal at the back were revised. Here's a VF sedan showing the new front end styling:



The '70-'71 VG model was the same as the VF except it had a new grille and new rectangular headlamps (and the new Hemi-6 engine, which was not installed on cars sold outside the Australian market...export 6-cylinder cars got the Slant-6).

The VH model, released in '71, was the all-new body shell that was used on all Australian-built Valiants through to '81. Headlamp, taillamp, grille, and trim styling was twiddled and tweaked over the decade, but that's it. Here's an '81 CM station wagon:

It is so interessting to see al the body shells that was known as valiants - and the Styling line from the original R through to the last CM and apparently to soem sources the new Chrysler 300 owe it s looks to these specifi two models - the family lines is quite clear around the front - crease in the bonnet, twin headlights, Grille shape, Bonnet shape

The Australian '67-'68 VE-model Valiant sedans and wagons did have taillamps very similar to the US Barracuda. Not the same, but very similar.
