today i was loosening my fuel line on my carter bbd when the fitting behind it broke. does anyone know where to get a new one. it has to have the right size inside hole for the rubber tipped needle to seat to cut off the fuel flow. |

That's the fuel inlet seat. It comes in a carburetor rebuild kit. |

What do you mean, the parts stores don't have WHAT to look at? A carb, a rebuild kit or a inlet nut/needle&seat? That "nut" has come with every carb rebuild kit I have ever bought for a BBD. If they'd pull their PAPER catalogs, often these parts were listed as seperate part numbers, but unless your carb is very freshly rebuilt, youd be better to buy a kit and go thru it anyways. |
