Also interested in the Dutra Duals. Is it possible to get a pic so we can see them. What about cost and performance. How do they compare to 3 to 2, or 6 to 1 headers? Any special mods needed?

The cast iron dual manifolds are more expensive then the tube steel headers but over time, they are a better value. (they will last a lifetime or two)
Performance increase is in the 6 to 10% range, (how you set-up the exhaust pipes has a lot to do with the power increase) better mpg and power. There is a noticable increase in throttle response and a nice sound. For all out racing, headers are the best way to go.

Others Slant Sixers running the set-up can give you their views but I can say that I have "Dual Dutra Duals" on my 68 cuda with a mild 225 running 14.70's and my 3600 lb 66 Dart wagon gets 20 mpg using a "with heat" set.

Hey Doug,

So on your Cuda do you have the dual Dutra duals going into the one exhaust pipe? The reason I'm asking is my daily driver will have Dual Dutra Duals, but I can't decide if I want dual pipes out the back, or 2 into 1 like the pic you have on your site. This is a mildly modified, very reliable daily ride. Would there be much of a performance difference, either way, between one exhaust pipe, and two?

Thanks a lot!
