timing marks???

okay, finally grabbed up a timing light.

64 valiant, 225

motors not exactly a show specimen.

where should i be looking for timing marks?

can't locate any obvious marks, maybe buried under gunk. hints on where to start?

there will be grooves on the damper/lower pulley, and there should be a tab bolted to the timing cover on the driver's side of the engine with marks on it (10-0-10)... unless your slant is from another 'era' then the timing tab may be on the other side of the engine... start there first...
