Does anyone know if a later model turn signal switch will mount in a '64 housing? I have a NOS '69 switch, but I'm too lazy to pull the wheel to check if someone already knows.

I don't care about the wiring, as I can make that work if the screw attach points are the same, and if it will physically fit. I put a '79 switch in a '73 truck and picked up the lane-change feature. It was a simple rewire and terminal change. I also don't care about the flasher switch, as I can either make it work, or remove it.

I'd be interested in this too. My '64 has a bad switch cam.

Direct interchange on this switch is '64-'66. The '62-'63 switch is almost the same, but with differently-shaped wire terminals. I should have some of these switches, brand new, in stock before too long. Prior to that, see this thread

The cancelling cam can be replaced without replacing the whole switch. It's worth the extra effort to buy the one and only good-quality cam on the market; see here.
