Hi, I have an offy 4 bbl intake with a carb plate and hooker 3 to 1 split headers. What I do not have at this time is collectors, mounting hardware, linkage, or a 390 holley. I am looking for all the above mentioned items so if anyone has any of this stuff for sale or know what doors I can knock on to get this stuff please drop me a line. Also I was told to tack some small nuts to the header flanges as they are a little thinner than the intake. Just a thought as i did not ask anybody yet but could I just have a bit taken off the intake flange to match the thickness of the header flange or is this a bad idea? Anyhow I also need to clean up the headers. What is the best method to get these ready for coating. I want to test fit and do any tweaking prior to getting them coated with some form of ceramic but I also need them cleaned up so handling them for now is not so sloppy. They are not scaly but just have a little buildup on them and are a little messy. Since the car I have is detailed under the hood I want to keep the mess to a minimum. Thanks for all your help guys!!!
Chas. :D
