TCI is a good name. I have no experience with them personally, though.

Alto makes some very good clutches too. I have their normal ones in a TH350 trans I built for towing, it's still going strong at 50,000 + miles and has had clean fluid at every change.

If the TCI kit is one with some sort of metallic clutch material, I would stay away from it unless this is a race only car. It just is not needed on a street car and the rest of the trans usually suffers from the particles that end up in the fluid. Good parts, different application. A normal type of paper lining will last longer.

You cannot really go wrong with Raybestos or Borg Warner materials either. I would stay away from Allomatic.

Hughes racing makes a nice and complete kit that has all washers and bushings and comes with The red Alto clutches and Kolene steels. It would be all that an hipo build would ever need and overkill on a street car. It might be easier to source from your corner of the world.

Yhx for the replies

Will have a look at Hughes

Alto or tci can be here within 7 days

Apparently the tci kit has the same bits as their street fighter boxes
