I'm not sure what cam I should go with on my 225 slant six. Basically I have a stock bottom end I've polished my head decked it .060" and done a competition valve grind. I drive this car as a daily driver any suggestions

We need a little more info. here:
What carb.?
What exhaust?
What is the trans, if an automatic, what converter stall speed.
What rear end gear ratio.

Sounds like you want a "street performance" cam that gives a little more RPM while not giving-up idle quality and low speed torque.

That #3 crane cam looks pretty weak to me. 280* duration with ONLY 218*@50? Shivvy lobe! I thought a 268 Purple Shaft would be a nice size cam in my /6, but you can hardly tell it's there unless you wind it up at WOT. If you want a decent cam, I'd suggest a 268 Purple Shaft if you can find one, or maybe an isky cam like other people have used. You say you polished the head and did a valve job, but did you port it or get someone else to? How about gasket matching? A LOT needs to come out of the exhaust ports just to match the factory manifold.
