Years ago I had a slant and when I tuned it, the guy at the parts store recommended a marine cap. It has a small bump between a couple of the towers which supposedly vents moisture out, but doesn't let moisture in. I noticed my "new" 63 valiant has one also. As I perform tune up procedures, and replace parts, should I buy another marine cap, IYHO?
Thanks, Kelly

bluestreak ch-410x from napa is the best cap currently available for the slant.

Yeah, Step gives the correct part number. That's not a "marine" cap, though; even the (rather cheaply made) factory caps got those vents sometime in the 1980s. Specific tune-up parts suggestions are in this thread.
