Hi all after reading on a post that it took somebody 3 hours of grinding to fit 1 off our SL6 manifolds i thought i would put up the info regarding installing the manifold. the only area of the manifold that may need grinding is the sides of the manifold flanges, This is something that we can not finish to exact size as the header flanges & cast iron manifolds are different thicknesses & widths. Wayne asked me the same question the other week. one thing our production guys over came was the flange area on the hurricane is a thicker section than the runners, a feeder bar was used on the first batch of manifolds to over come shrinkage. a new method is now being used so clean up & flange size should be very close from batch to batch. The triangles that retain the manifold & exhaust manifold need the top section ground down. This should only take a few minutes each tag with a grinder. Both AussieSpeed & PP&R want this manifold to be easy to install & the best performing slant six manifold available. I had hoped to hear some feedback on drag times by now from you guys in the USA as all the Aussie users are over the moon at there performance gains. We hope to have a few more slant products available next year.. ..Please remember we can be contacted if you have any Questions on the manifolds or fitting problems.the pdf can be view at the link below..

Hey Mark, are you still kickin' around the idea of a super hurricane? Just curious. Also, thanks for addressing the fitment issue. Thanks, Wayne.

Hi Wayne, the super hurricane if it happens wont be for a while. Ray is working on the terra charger set up & between us we are also working on the valve cover as i mentioned a few weeks ago. we hope to have it available next year & we will have 2 styles. The Hurricane & a no logo style cover also.If forum members wanted to put some input into the style of valve cover please let me know. AussieSpeed has just organised some good shipping deals on volume orders so if a few guys want to get together & do a group buy on manifolds i am sure you can all sve a few bucks. I am sure we can do the same type of deal on the valve covers when they are available. Also the instructions to fit the PP&R AussieSpeed SL6 Hurricane is on the AussieSpeed website in pdf & full view,
Regards Mark
