Ok,I know you all must be sick of my questions by now,but I need one more. The points in my 67 HAVE to go! I want to do the HEI upgrade. My only problem is that I dont like the looks of most of the installs I have seen(no offence to anyone :!: ) I have always been a function over form guy,but I dont want a bunch of multi-colored wires sticking out.Does anyone have a really clean install of the HEI? I want mine to look as stock as it can for new gm parts in a old Mopar! This car means a lot to me so I want to keep it looking clean under the hood.

The only reason I am considering the stock system,is for how clean and stock you can make it look.So does anyone have any pictures of their install? I tried to do a search for is but it keeps comming up with an error when I try to search.Am I doing something wrong?

The cleanest installation would probably come from using the combined coil/module/bracket assembly as shown in the HEI upgrade article. You can get the factory wiring connector plugs out of the wrecking yard, and use convoluted wire loom to create a tidy wiring harness.

Do you have pictures of your install SSD? I would definatly use the GM coil and bracket combo if I go this route!

No pics...last HEI installation I did was on a car I no longer own, and I spend more time on here than under the hood lately, so my '71 still has points. :-(

Gotta get those pesky points out of there Dan! I was hoping someone had some pictures of a clean install,I really am not much of an electrician.I know if I just try and do it myself,it will look like crap. But if somone had some pics and a description of a clean install,I might do ok to follow it...

My $40 HEI writeup has a picture of the coil and module assembly I used.
