I've recently experienced an oil pressure failure. I haven't pulled the motor or performed an autopsy. I don't know the history of the motor. It was not the original motor but I suspect it was never rebuilt. The oil pressure just failed to come up at start-up one day. It was installed in a 4 spd '66 Cuda w/ some heavy suspension mods. I drove it pretty hard. If I had to guess, I suspect it was approaching 200K miles. If anybody is interested, I'll post the 'post mortem', so to speak. Please let us know what you find, usually on high mile engines it's a bearing failure which causes this.
