ok guys i got a question for you. My car has been running great latley, well the other day i cleaned the carb with some carb cleaner cause it was super dirty. Now when i start the car, if i dont allow it to warm up, the engine stalls, but will start right back up. It may be normal, but i dunno, first carb car. by the way its a 77 volare, super six, 1barrel carb. thanks in advance

Sounds like a vacuum leak. Are all the hoses still hooked up and hooked up to the right places?

Sounds like you need to pay some attention to the choke adjustments. See this article.

Also-- you are using the correct cold starting procedure, right? Stomp the gas pedal all the way to the floor, then take your foot all the way off the pedal, then turn the key to "start".
