my van is my baby i take her everywere.she has the 225 slant with the 727 torquflight. i dont want to change my engine .i dont want a v8 ,but its a van and it kind of slacks going up hills.i was wondering if i could do a cam kit ???? or any other options to increase rpm or horespower????mainly if you know what i mean it needs some get up en go.. anything is possible in my book

Mill the head, to increase the compression ratio. Best bang for the buck. Helps power and economy, both.

Vote #2 for a compression increase... and do a little "pocket porting" work and a good valve grind while the head is off.
Have you ever run a compression check on your engine?
If so, what are the current psi readings?

well i havent checked the compression ill do tonite .what is the max i can mill the head??.porting sounds good ,oldschool i like it.

I took a .1 of an inch off my head most ppl say thats a good compression increase picks up some pep from that
