The lights on my pushbutton unit on my 64 dart just burned out.
Where the heck is the plastic plug that houses the bulb on the pushbutton unit?
Does anyone have a shop manual for '64 Darts for sale?

I'm not sure about the Dart, but the single bulb on my Valiant shifter can be accessed by removing the plastic trim plate and moving the buttons aside. It can be reached from the front.

The Darts are a little harder just because the PB faceplate is held down by the wiper and headlight switch.

Use a small allen wrench to get the knob off the wiper switch and reach-up under the dash to push the release button on the headlight switch, this allows the knob assembly to be removed. (disconnect the battery or the headlights will be on)

So thats how u get the wiper switch knob off!!I broke the face plate on my 63 DART trying to get that thing off.And,you'll need to take off the tip of the parking pawl lever too.Mines held in with a standard screw.But,I dont know if its stock..........I want to find another face plate.Later.6boy.....
