Hi, So i want a 350 holley to go in my 225 VC Valiant. Currently the car has a new ignition setup with bigger coil extractors and the head has been ported and polished. When I get the new carb I'll of course put on a new manifold perhaps a long runner from aussie speed? Either way I also plan to shave the head to 10:1 compression and install bigger valves 1.77 and 1.44 I think the standard upgrade is. is a 350 holley too much...? And the big question is where should I get it from...? All I hear is that REMAN carbs are terrible... so Advice on this would be great. I'm in Australia but would be happy to pay for shipping etc. |

Here is a new one: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/HLY-0-7448/ It should be fine with your set-up. Now that you have decided on a good intake, carb, ignition, and higher compression, your limiting factors will be camshaft and exhaust. |

Since you're in Aus, try Hume Performance. Their recon carbs are pretty good, as are their new carb prices. http://www.hume.com.au/ |
