This winter am planning on installing fuel injection, Barry Grant demon blow thru carb ran terrible at idle and off idle. Am planning on useing Mega Squirt carb to EFI kit with muliport, 55lb or 65lb injectors is there a problem with running to big an injector?, Accel 750CFM throttle body on summits site because it will bolt right up to manifold and air bonnet. I know I will have to drill intake and have bungs welded, build fuel rail add high pressure fuel pump, regulator and return line. Any body see any problems or comments welcome

You will be over fuelled at 35 lb injectors........

I run 2 65 lb injectors on a 350" Vortec headed , roller cammed , trailer torquer..........

I have 6 @36 lb injectors on a turbo slant, and wide open it runs about 80% duty cycle. And that is fueled too rich at this point.. There is room for more power out of this one still. So I think this size will ultimately be right on.

The problem with too much injector is getting it to idle. Just like the carb. Mine idles at 2.5 ms, and that is about as low as you want to go. Smaller than that and the opening and closing times get too close to the fully open time to be controlled reliably. I can tell you it idles better with the MS II than with the MS I because of the faster processor.

I ran 42 lb/hr Toyota injectors on my slant with no problem. We've got a couple cars in the test fleet that idle well below 2.5 ms pulse width; the main problem is that MS1 can't make adjustments of under 0.1 ms with the standard code.

I have 6 34#/HR on my stock cam n/a Slant - I also use a stock 4.0 Jeep Throttlebody.

I am not sure if that tb would work in a boosted application.

Also I am not sure of the actual pulsewidth at idle. (yet)
