I just took out my dash cluster to replace burned out lights, and transmission fluid started leaking out when I pulled the speedo cable off. Is that normal? Also, anyone know where to find those little black caps that hold the dash lights in, one side is always breaking off!

Fluid in the cable can be a sign that the seal on the drive gear is bad at the trans end. I have also seen it happen when the vent gets clogged up.

You should be able to find those sockets at Pep Boys or Autozone in the "HELP" line. Dennis
