Tomorrow! :D
Fopar and I will be there.
Doug Powers will be picking up some goodies provided by DI and Myself.
DusterIdiot may come to spectate and help with Pit Crew Activities.
I'd hazard a guess that Dave and Alethea Mueller will be running too!
Anybody else coming?

CJ

I'm sunburnt again!

Got lots of runs in! Went for quite a ways in Sportsman.
Doug has the two 7-1/4" rears now, so should be able to get his Feather back to it's 30-something economy again.

Finally broke out and decided to head for home. The only slant stuff in the swap meet were cast iron 1 bbl manifolds for $10. I'd have given him a buck for the three of them.

Linda informs me it's time for me to take her out to dinner.

Well, this has become a blog!

At Samoa I bummed a gallon of 110 from David Erickson. We're bossom buddies since I told him I woke him up with "Loud Festive Devices" just as he got to sleep late one night at the track.
Anyway, I was detonating, and he had excess fuel. I spiked the fuel cell, and my detonation went away.
As a parting gift he gave me a nice set of gears for the Hootptie. Now I can run tires that don't embarass my fellow slant six competitors!
With 4.11's on the locker, I should be able to run 26's and get some sidewall in my wrinklewalls.

Sunday, I picked up three gallons of 111 at my local "Station," as that's what they had. It was too expensive, as I soon learned. Paid nine bucks a gallon.

At Woodburn, I discovered, much to my chagrine, that I was going to stay in it for quite a while. Had to run after fuel as the cell was starting to empty. Made the sweet 16, and finally went out in the quarter finals in group A of the Undefeated. Not sure how many cars there were. How many does it take to overflow three lanes at Woodburn?

Picked up a brand new fuel Jug w/spout for $25, filled it with 110 for $8.50/gallon, and then thought one of those wagons would have been nice on the way back to the pits! Coulda talked somebody with a golf cart into helping me! Jeeze it was hot!
Anyway, the Hooptie likes a lot of timing, so I'll likely just leave it in the trailer. Scoot the timing up again, and run the good sauce.
