Have a 79 Dodge D-100 with a slant six in it. Last time I drove it, it just starting dying on my whenever I take my foot off the gas. Will always start right back up but wont stay running without me giving it some extra gas. Any Ideas? havent done anything to it recently and nothing else happened that I am aware of. Any help is appreciated. Thanks, Paul

sounds fuel related. check filter, carb, and choke. dirt in the fuel air mixture circuit will cause this

Do a valve adjustment right away, if you have not already done that. Tight valves are a common problem that cause just this effect.
