What do you guys think of the Hyperpak intake for the street? Is it really any better for a street car than say an Offenhauser four barrel intake? With the lack of heat, is it worse? It looks really cool, but I really wonder if it's the best choice for the street. For that matter, for a pure street car, are the 4 barrel set ups any better than a decent 2 barrel?

Are you running headers at all? I found with my clifford street rod dual outlet headers and water heated manifold..... I did not even need to run water through it to heat up the intake. The headers make the engine compartment hot enough so I can't leave my hands around the carb for a few seconds after the car had been driven. It's been fun trying to turn adjustment screws on the carb....

Headers? I guess that's part of the question. I was thinking it would be cool to have the Clifford rod headers with a Hyperpak on my convert, but got wondering if it makes sense for the street. I have a Dutra set up for my hardtop with the 2 barrel. Would also be curious to see how well a stock 6 into 1 iron exhaust could be made to work too. I have access to an extrude hone machine. Might be interesting.
