My truck is an 86 and it still has the original engine, I'm not sure if the previous owner would have ever done this adjustment but I want to make sure it is taken care of if in fact it needs it. Thank you. |

If it is an 86 truck with the original motor it will have hydraulic lifters and will not need a valve lash adjustment. |
