Recently put on the 2bbl. Happens to be a BBD 318 carb so as of now I have no choke.. Lots of fun with it snowing outside. Its idling around 1000 to 1100. The idle screw is backed out completely however I noticed a gap so turning the throttle lever counterclockwise (with a small amount of force) dropped it down to 800-875 RPM.. Return spring isnt HUGE but it works well for driving. Carb just wont shut. Throttle cable is loose enough that it is not holding it back from shutting Thanks in advance for any tips. This terrible gas mileage is eating a hole in me pocket! Lol |
