Hi Everyon,

I picked up a slant six from a friend of mine and am putting it in a 67 Cuda. The truck that my friend had this motor in before he sold it to me ran 13.2. I don't know much about the motor other than it is the 225 and I believe the compression is 12.5 - 1. I am now getting ready to put the motor in my car but I need a carb. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on which carb I should get and how big ( I already have a 4 barrel intake). Also, I am changing this motor over to electronic ignition, any suggestions on what I should get? Thanks for all you help.

Hoemy

If the engine came from a truck, you may need a different oil pan.

You will need a different oil pan and oil pickup tube. You also will need to get a slant six electronic ignition distributor. I would start with a Edelbrock 400 CFM carb or a Holley 390 CFM carb.
