I talked with Steve Magnante the other day and he reports that the swap to an aluminum cylinder head on his aluminum block SL6 was a success.
(The Mopar Muscle Alm. SL6 build-up engine)

Steve said he has cleaned all the red paint off the other parts so the engine just screams "Alloy" when you pop the hood. (Alm. Hyper-pak intake, Clifford valve cover and all accessories)

The plan was to get out to the track and thrash it so we will see if the head gasket holds.
