1976 d100 3 speed manual. getting ready to take trans out.is there a trick to getting the top drivers side bolt on trans out? I cant seem to get anything in a position to remove it? thanks

slightly different tranny and vehicle

but on my 83 D150 with an A833,, I stacked several lengths of ratchet socket extensions, got to it from the transmission cross member.
