 Post subject: Idle in gear?

Sorry for the new post but It's sort of a different topic. Now that I've decided to buy a 10 inch converter from Midwest, will my car idle in gear. It now idles at around 1100-1200 rpm and I must put it in neutral to keep it from stalling when I slow down or come to a stop light. I'm hoping this new converter solves this. Am I correct?

Shouldnt change the idle at all, its 600rpm in gear and 800 at idle, if you have a aftermarket camshaft in there, this might be a different story...
