I just scored a 75-76 4spd od out of an a-body with bellhousing and rear cross member and was wondering if anyone had ever put one in a early a-body and wahat troubles you encounterd.I realize that the floor and hump will need modifcation and thats not a real problem but im more concerned with the crossmember as the e-brake attaches to it and the pivot ball is missing from the bell and it looks like i will have to fab a bracket to mount it in correct location.As always any advice from a more knowledgable slanter is appreciated.

Ive got a slanted attitude and a heavy right foot.

i put a 4 spd od into a 65 cuda(3spd slant car). yes the hump needs modified(5 pd hammer will do in a pinch).
