Hi everyone i was wondering if anyone could tell me any information about this slant 6 engine i don't know how to decode casting numbers i just wana know the year of the engine thankyou. 2536430.10 is what's on the engine

The casting number is the same across many years. The block is stamped on the top deck by #1. Clean this area and give us that string and someone can help.

That's the thing I'm trying to buy this engine its a couple hours away it has a factory 2 barrel on it also got number 12 . 21. 71 on it idk if that's the year or not.

Does the block have 3 freeze plugs or 5?
What color is the block painted?
