I recently had occasion to pull the drive gears off of four slant six oil pumps. I needed a tool to do it and found that THIS tie rod end puller worked great after I ground the opening in the jaw a little bit wider. Not much, just a little bit. This is a low priced tool that is perfect for this application. Just in case anyone out there is looking for a cost-effective way to really easily remove the oil pump gear.

Very very similar. Your posts and that picture are what inspired me to search for one.
