Hello, I have a 1965 Valiant A904. I want to adjust the gear selector.
I have a manual that states the adjustment at the wheel: place the gear lever in Low, hold tight, pull the cable 2ft lb, bottom out the round flange, locate the screw hole, then back off five holes. (2ft lb is not much)
When I do this, I get: start, in Park, reverse & drive. I tried 2 times.
Any advice? thanks!
(also: I can't find any information in the column adjust inside the engine bay.)
