If you know any welders or metal smith's that do side jobs. Just welding and cutting and gridibg solidmetal to shape to body parts close to oem standards or exceeds if thicker metal used.
If I had to try and keep a vintage car in bad weather some type of under carriage cover might help with road salt if an issue.
If cannot garage if give a break from elements- even a car cover helps a lot to provide sun and dirt protection. Car ports are great so if there's any rust, it's doesn't advance as fast when constantly exposed to water and moisture.
I saw a picture where some took a large sail shade and made it look modern and cool.
The two end point were high lengthwise. The crossing front to back posts were somewhat lower fo an artsy swooping look.
Much more upscale and modern looking than just a something hanging overhead.
.
Sail shades are good for sun protection, tree droppings and leaves, birds droppings and some rain unless intense. A lot less expensive than a metal car port.

My car is far from a showcar more of a surviving than crusher. My car cover worth ever penny avoing me the hassle of future redoing in or outside. .
Some local colleges train welders or have car programs. they might have a message board.
Good luck..
