Hey everyone... :)

Ok i'm stuck between my engine choices. heres my dilema. I have a Turbo off of a 2.2L mopar, with a manifold already made up for it, i have a .030 rebuilt 225cid engine with forged pistons. My cylenderhead is ported to insane amounts (probably way too much for a dd car but...) and has Ford 300 valves (1.78INTAKE, 1.56EXHAUST) they fit the bores fine, but to gain alittle flow i shrouded the valves (just to be sure). well i was considering using a Carter AFB, or Holley 4160 600cfm carb and bolting it to my Offy intake along with the modified factory custom turbo exhaust and having a turbo setup with the comp 264 cam or something like that and using this motor..

OR.....

use my .030 over bottom end, deck my cylender head .125 to get 10:1 compression, grab a wild custom camshaft dual outlet headers with a high stall converter and go raceing.... (and probably use about 100shot of nos on it later :))

I really dunno what to do here.. i was talking about it with a Buick Regal-T owner that locally runs some pretty serious 1/4 mile times with a 3350lbs car with 20lbs boost and alky injection. (nothing else was done to the motor really (runs low low 12's). I highly doubt i would make it anywhere near this close with a non-turbo slantsix, there are ALOT of guys running high 14's with civics and stuff (so they say) and i dont wanna be embarrassed by having dumped 2000 into an engine and run say 15's with 3.55 gears in a 3450lbs car...

I was told that a turbo with a carb is a PITA to keep in tune, when the temp changes along with humidity you could be running too ritch or too lean when just the day before you were perfect. Changing jets everyday is just NOT my kind of "fast" engine. MPFI or even TBI is out of the question, that stuff is beyond my rekoning lol...

any tips, advice, or pointers would be much appriciated...

Oh yea, also if anyone knows what i should do for Valve Stem Seals on this head would be awesome... with the smaller valve guides i'm clueless...

:? :? Justin :? :?

P.S. My buddies Name is Nick, known him for awhile now, heres a vid of his 87 Regal-T against his friends 2003 Dodge Viper... http://members.shaw.ca/nkenv/Turbo-T_Viper.wmv
