Is it possible to use a Holley/Weber 5200 progressive 2 barrel carb on a Super Six intake manifold? Or would I have to make an adapter? I'm kind of curious to see how a Slant would perform compared to when I had one on my Mustang's 200. Also I've never really liked full time two barrel carbs. |

Here's a quick pic of a super six intake with a Mr.Gasket #1937 adapter, and Holley 5200/Weber Clone out of a Pinto 4 cyl car......You figure out the linkage and tuning: ![]() -D.Idiot |

Thanks for the pic! The only problem I can see with linkages is getting the kickdown hooked up properly, but I think I'll probably upgrade to a Lokar cable setup for it and throttle. Tuning shouldn't be a problem, as I think the jets Tom Langdon installs in his carbs are about the right range for a Slant. |
